Winter Reflect and Reconnect

Who: 9th-12th grade

WHERE:  Tam Junktion @ 256 Shoreline Highway, Mill Valley, CA

TIME: upcoming

Fee: $250

DETAILS

Now more than ever before, teens are looking for opportunities to come together, share their voices, and gain inspiration from their peers on how to thrive amidst a world of distractions.

With half the year behind us, it is a wonderful moment to reflect on all that has been accomplished and overcome. In preparation of tackling the ever growing personal and academic to do list, we will offer a moment of pause.

In our upcoming workshop we will reflect on the first half of the school year and revisit academic and personal goals. During our time together we will focus on articulating what is important to us and makes us feel inspired, and create tools to eliminate distractions that prevent us from thriving. We will discuss the importance of having a growth mindset and how the power of visualization and manifestation play an important role in personal development and in achieving our goals.

Each participant will leave with a vision board, effective tools used for self reflection and staying present, a full belly with a nourishing meal, new connections, a sense of being seen and heard and personalized goals for the upcoming year.

New School, New Toolkit

Who: Rising Freshman

WHERE:  VINTAGE RUSE @ 256 Shoreline Highway, Mill Valley, CA

WHEN: AUGUST 10th 10-1

Fee: $250

DETAILS

The transition to high school is a significant shift as girls are tasked with embracing new academic challenges and social pressures. Our workshop will provide your rising freshman with tools and techniques for how to better identify and balance personal priorities, academic stress, new social relationships and their own wellness. Within this workshop they will have the opportunity to reflect among peers in order to develop an individual plan on how to be a successful, confident student and advocate for themselves in high school. This workshop will conclude with a panel of current high school school girls from a variety of Bay Area schools who will share their wisdom and answer questions from your daughter about how to navigate this transformative time

Your daughter will gain insight on how to ensure her time spent on her academics is productive and skills for avoiding distractions. She will leave feeling prepared to take ownership of her time management and feeling confident in starting the school year. She will explore her personal learning style and understand how to use her strengths as an empowered learner to take on new challenges.

Your daughter will gain knowledge on how to nourish her mind and body with healthy relationships, food habits and sleep hygiene. She will create space to be mindful and present by reflecting on her relationships with technology, rest, nutrition, self, friends, family, and environments. Within this reflection she will identify specific goals that she feels will allow her to thrive as a new freshman.

This time will allow her the opportunity to bond with other incoming freshmen and engage in dialogue over some of the shared anticipation of starting high school. We will leave the girls feeling empowered to make choices that prioritize their mental health, positive connections with peers, and equip them with the confidence for this transition.
